Now with the fab shop built it’s been rewarding to go slow on certain ideas. Here is a hand shape from last month.
Went into it searching for something bigger than a shortboard, but not a mid length. The germ of the idea was “middy-Simmons” but it didn’t go that way exactly.
@nealpurchasejnr ‘s duo concept has captured my imagination for awhile and this was a perfect opportunity to try it. Neal graciously shared his specs for the fin placement and the fins are from @flyingdiamondsofcalifornia
Derek @uselesstoysglassing and I talked a bit about the glass but nothing too defined. He ran with it from there and came up with something that feels special.
